Grantees End Report

Last updated: July 12, 2023, Gia

Who is involved in this process:

Grant Support Squad team + Grantees

Goals of process:

To understand grantees' learnings, impacts and how we can make a better grants program, after a grant has been executed. This process is part of our Monitoring, Evaluation and Learnings strategy to gather insights from the grantees and make constant changes in the Grants Program to better serve our Decentraland DAO community of creators.

Steps of process:

  1. The grantee notifies the Grant Support Squad that the grant has been finished.
  2. The Grant’s Support Squad Program Manager allocated to that grant, sends the Grantees End Report Form on an e-mail {email below this process description}
  3. Grantees answer to the following questions:
    1. Who’s completing this form?
    2. Did you finish your grant project? Yes/No
    3. Please link your grant proposal
    4. What did you/your team learn from this Grant? (Please be as extensive as you want!)
    5. How does your grant project impact the Decentraland Community? Share the impact metrics required for your grant category.
    6. What was the most important support you received from Decentraland?
    7. What has changed from the proposal along the way that you didn’t have in mind at first? (Changes are good, as we are learning along the way.)
    8. How would you rate the Decentraland DAO grants program? From 1 being Poor to 5 being Excellent.
    9. From your experience, how can we make a better Grants Program?
    10. Would you be interested in being a mentor for future grantees? Yes / No
    11. Do you want to share something else?
  4. Program Manager reads the final report, and if there is something relevant to report to the program, the Grant Manager raises it in team meetings to be discussed, if not, it gets later on processed along with the other Grantees End Reports, which every 6 months get analyzed to report findings to the community, and make changes to the Decentraland DAO Grants Program.
